I’m always inspired and touched when companies just “do the right thing”.
All major theme parks in the Orlando area are closed down as Hurricane Matthew continues to wreak havoc. This unfortunate turn of events will keep everyone as safe as possible, but for many people working at these resorts and parks, it means a loss of work hours. On Thursday morning, a Universal spokesperson announced that they will be paying all employees for time that would have been worked, as reported by the Orlando Sentinel.
Thank you, Universal Orlando, for doing the right thing for your people during these hurricane-impacted closures.
